Just when we thought Sergers couldn’t get any
better, BabyLock has developed a new machine with an array of fun
techniques. We are offering a
“round-robin” class on Friday, November 15th to show some of the
creative things that can be done with the new Ovation Serger. From decorative
gridwork with the chain stitch and sewing small tighter curves to making fringe
and decorative covered buttons, the possibilities are impressive. The Friday
class which begins at 10am is a fun and informative introduction to the Ovation
for those who have considered adding a serger to their sewing rooms. There is a $15 reservation fee.
Another hands-on class will be offered on Saturday,
Nov. 16th at 9:30. The class
will learn some of the machine features as they create a project that they can
keep. This cute little steno notebook cover includes a number of great techniques.
The kit fee for this class is $25 and you must reserve a spot in advance. 936-1251
