Dear Sewing Friends!
I hope you are enjoying the Spring weather and, like me feel
better that it didn’t rain today. I got my garden planted this week end
so I’m feeling whole again! I noticed this morning on the way out that my
kitty cats think it is freshly replaced litter box! So, I’ll have to do a
bit of replanting.
I wanted to touch base with you all and let you know the
fresh happenings at Creative.
We are putting together our May 15 & 16th
event and we keep adding good things. We are excited that Cathy Gandy is
coming to educate you on the new IQ Designer to the next level. We
are calling it the intermediate level. We will have machines set up so you can
try it after she shows you.
We are also adding another dimension to the Friday (15th)
class. It is called edge-to-edge quilting on the Destiny. Wow
What a fast way to finish a quilt. With this technique you will be able
to say proudly, Yes, I made the whole quilt and made it mine by quilting it
too.
On the 16th we will be educating you on the
Palette versions 9-10. If you have an older version and have been
thinking about upgrading then this is the class for you. You will be
inspired at what you can do now with the software. As Cathy says
“Learning and enjoying this software package is so satisfying”.
Both days start at 9:30 and go to around 12:30. There
is a reservation fee of $15.00 for the classes.
Don’t forget we will be at the Shriner’s Temple in July for
the Knitting and Quilting Event. Yes, we are giving away 2 machines again
this year.
